Serbia military parade in Belgrade 2025

Belgrade Set for Spectacular Military Parade on September 20

Belgrade is ready to host the large-scale military parade “Power of Unity” this Saturday, September 20, 2025 starting at 11 a.m. in front of the Palace of Serbia in Novi Beograd. The event, which will showcase the strength and modernization of the Serbian Armed Forces, is expected to draw thousands of visitors.

“I am proud of every member of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces who have given their utmost and proven themselves worthy of the insignia they wear,” said Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić at the general rehearsal two days before the parade. “On Saturday, in front of the Palace of Serbia and along the Danube Quay, citizens will be able to see just how far our army has advanced in recent years, and to witness the strength of our armed forces, which stand resolutely in defense of the homeland. Our soldiers are the pride of Serbia.”

The parade will feature a ceremonial march of units from all branches and services of the Serbian Armed Forces, cadets of the Military Academy, vehicle units, and vessels of the River Flotilla. The program also includes a demonstration by the elite “Cobras” Special Forces Detachment, a drill by the Guard, and a parachute jump by members of the 63rd Parachute Brigade.

Aerial units will stage a powerful flyover, with all types of aircraft taking part, including MiG-29 fighter jets, “Orao” aircraft, C-295 CASA transport planes, Mi-35M helicopters, and H-145 helicopters.

The display of military hardware will include advanced air defense missile systems FK-3 and HQ-17, modern GM400 radars, armored combat vehicles such as “Miloš,” “MRAP,” “Lazar 3,” HMMWV, and BOV OT, as well as upgraded M-84 AS1/2/3 tanks, modernized M80 AB infantry fighting vehicles, 155 mm NORA self-propelled howitzers, PASARS anti-aircraft systems, and various drones, including reconnaissance and combat models.

Around 10,000 participants will take part in the parade, with approximately 2,500 weapons and pieces of military equipment on display, along with over 600 vehicles, 70 aircraft, and 20 vessels.

The event is open to the public free of charge. Entry will be allowed from 8:30 a.m. at two designated points: near the roundabout by the Ušće Shopping Center towards Branko’s Bridge, and at the intersection of Trešnjinog Cveta Street and Nikola Tesla Boulevard, accessible from both Novi Beograd and Zemun.
