Belgrade has opened the Palace of Science, Serbia’s first center for research and popularization of science, the largest of its kind in the region. Spanning 5,500 square meters, it has been reimagined as an exceptional destination that ignites a passion for science in visitors of all ages, with a special focus on engaging children.
A Journey Through the Palace of Science
1. Europe’s Largest Digital Earth
The grand hall features Europe’s largest digital Earth, suspended from the ceiling. This awe-inspiring installation is a highlight as you enter the building.

Visitors are greeted by preserved sharks and rays, as well as interactive screens featuring educational games for children.
The second room houses:

5. The Discover New Adventures (DNA) Area
Children visiting the Discover New Adventures area can safely explore and learn with the guidance of their parents and the support of trained educators at the Palace of Science. Through engaging interactive exhibits on the fifth floor, young scientists can delve into programming, robotics, geology, art, and other STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). This unique experience inspires curiosity and creativity, making learning both fun and memorable!
Drinks & Snacks
The Palace of Science also offers a restaurant and café, where a robot assists in serving coffee. While the barista brews your drink, a robotic arm sprinkles cinnamon and hands it to you. Next to the café there is also bookstore, stocked with science-related books, toys and souvenirs.
