Mix Markt

Mix Markt: New Supermarket in Belgrade

On April 29, 2024, Belgrade’s diverse array of supermarket chains will welcome a new arrival: Mix Markt, a German company specializing in Eastern European products, a go-to destination for those interested in trying Russian, Polish, or Transylvanian specialties.

Mix Markt offers a thoughtfully curated selection of Slavic foods, Polish specialties, and Romanian products. From Russian pelmeni to Polish dairy products and Romanian sausages, customers can find a wide variety of food items. The store also stocks fish products, dairy, ice cream, frozen goods, pasta, pickled vegetables, berries, grains, drinks, and alcoholic beverages. Additionally, Mix Markt caters to everyday needs by offering drugstore items, household goods, cooking equipment, typical Russian cooking aids, cosmetics, and gift items.

The company’s first two stores in Belgrade will be located on Sarajevska Street No. 70 and 27. Marta Street No.7. Additionally, on the same day, a new store will open in Novi Sad at Bulevar oslobođenja 70a.

The first Mix Markt was founded in 1997, with the inaugural store opening in Oerlinghausen, Lippe district, North Rhine-Westphalia. Since then, the chain has experienced continuous growth and now boasts over 350 supermarkets across Germany and Europe (Belgium – Flemish, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Cyprus).

In Serbia, Mix Markt will enhance the expanding range of Russian products that are already popular in Svetofor and MERE Market.
